For Gideon Hillman Consulting, the role was set in place to help to support the marketing manager to carry out various strategies and tasks after a successful merge with fellow logistics company GoSupplyChain. Helping both businesses as we slowly merged into one, this is now known as the Supply Chain Group.

Job role:

  • Updating CMS and website systems with high-quality client logos for GH, GO and SCCG.

  • Using video production software such as Lumen5 to create testimonials, magazine articles and award entries videos.

  • Using image-creating software such as Canva to create testimonials, magazine articles and award entries Images.

  • Researching trending industry content for featured articles.

  • Coordination of case-studies, news items and testimonials for GH, GO and SCCG with marketing executive and consultants.

  • Understanding of Logistics industry with basic event management skills.

  • Processing enquires and checking all Hubspot entries with contacts, companies and deals are up to date.

  • Understanding of Inbound Content marketing strategies, on-page and off-page SEO and optimising content.


Freelancer - RTMarketing (Jan 2018 - Present)

For RTMarketing, the role itself was set by myself, allowing me to be open to working for myself and working for other people while gaining and learning from experiences. This will enable me to build up my brand and Improve my skill set.

Job Role:

  • Attracting and converting potential customers through various marketing methods such as offering a free consultation service based on getting local businesses online in exchange for gathering contact details and potential paying clients.

  • Planning and building of RTMarketing website including content such as blogs and previous work, the layout of the site designed to help user experience, graphic design for branding a mixture of services and the RTMarketing name.


Marketing Director - Empire Fitness Clothing (Jan 2017 - Sep 2017)

For Empire Fitness Clothing, a project set up with two friends eager to Improve, one friend eager to grow himself as a personal trainer and the other wanted his first taste working in marketing. Together we created Empire Fitness Clothing.

 Job Role:

  • Working alongside the co-founder to help produce marketing research of suitable materials for product development

  • Creating digital assets and run all social media channels

  • Using Photoshop to create Logo and engaging content on social media

  • Further developed knowledge of Social Media to run a Facebook and Instagram page successfully.


Marketing Intern - Brilliant Minds Academy (Mar 2017 - July 2017)

For Brilliant Minds Academy, This was part of a marketing internship set up by a businessman with a dream of building an 11+ exam service. Working as a team of 5. Setting up free exams for kids across 4 Locations, Growing as a business.

Product Manager - Wellcome Trust (Aug 2015 - Nov 2015)

For The Wellcome Trust, This was an academic project set up by Birmingham City University, working with a team of six, Together we created an interactive campaign appealing to children and the Importance of healthy eating.

 Job Role:

  • Worked as a team to create an interactive campaign spanning several platforms including application software's, video trailers and logo designs to entertain, inspire and educate users on health, nutrition, and environment.

  •  Helped support the design team with research and feedback.

  •  Video Production by recording and creating a trailer with short clips during the development to help the user through the app without losing interest.


Product Manager - Red Bee Media (Nov 2014 - Dec 2014)

For Red Bee Media, another academic project set up by Birmingham City University. Working Closely with the Dr Who Brand. As a team, we developed an interactive comic book; this was presented with our finding to the Red Bee Media team.

 Job Role:

  • Project Management with the help of trello to help give of daily tasks for each member of the team.

  • Market research using fan forums to help us aid with our unique doctor who stories.

  • Created an infographic with the team and ready to be presented to the client.

Sales Assistant - The Cooperative (June 2015 - Present)

For The Cooperative, Working as a Sales Assistant for over Three years. Helping numbers of customers from delivering excellent customer service skills to ensuring stock levels are well maintained. This was the first step into becoming a people person.

Job role:

  • Worked as part of a team to serve and engage with our customers and help the team to run the store successfully.

  • Helped support the team with weekly deliveries such as stock and frozen while engaging with potential clients about the coop membership scheme.


Volunteering - Opposable Games (March 2013 -March 2013)

For Opposable Games, This was working experience as part of my college course in ED Games Art in Warwickshire College. Working in one of the most significant gaming events in EGX Rezzed. For 3 Days this allowed me to improve my skills by interacting with people to help potential players to play Opposable's game Salvaged.

 Job Role:

  • Worked with fellow members of opposable games to help support the stand at the NEC for a new game Salvaged.

  • Engaged with potential clients with getting emails by signing them up play the game.
